Cancellation Policy
To secure your booking, a deposit of £100 is due at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
The balance for your stay is due before arrival.
Due to our remote location, the short nature of our summer season and the fact that we are unlikely to get any passing trade, we have the following cancellation policy.
If you need to cancel your stay for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible.
If you cancel within 28 days of your arrival date, we will make every effort to re-let your room(s). If we are unable to do so, the remaining balance of your stay will be payable.
If you do not arrive, the full amount of your stay will be payable.
Ferry cancellations
We understand that travelling to Rum can sometimes be affected by circumstances beyond your control. If your ferry is cancelled due to weather or other disruption and you are unable to reach the island on the day of your arrival, we will, where possible, offer to transfer your booking to an alternative available date within the same calendar year.
Any change of date is subject to availability and must be agreed with us in advance.
If we are unable to offer an alternative date, our normal cancellation terms will apply.
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance that covers ferry cancellations and travel disruption.
